  • Keep your payment slips / account statements properly – the tax department can request your documents to prove your donations up to 7 years afterwards.
  • Only the person who is listed on the payment slip can deduct the donations from tax. Anonymous donations are not tax deductible. Therefore you should clearly fill in your name and address for bank transfers.
  • Before you deduct your donations from tax, it is important for spouses that the person who makes the donation is taxable, since in other cases the deductibility does not apply.
