Donating time - Volunteering - Helping hands
Volunteers donate time, because they care when others are in distress or need help. They constitute an indispensable component for our community to function better. You can donate a few hours’ time and get much in return: a smile, thankfulness – but also a new perspective and experiences. Experiences that have touched you, inspired you to think, or made you laugh. You can act as reading Mom or reading Granny, as a discussion partner or chess-playing partner of an inhabitant of a MAIMONIDES CENTRE home for the elderly, lend a hand at Purim preparations, write addresses, make phone calls… Volunteering means sharing life experiences, founding relationships because talking and acting together brings people closer. Make your talents, skills and time available. Trust in yourself, we need you! Together we can work miracles!
